Depression costs the struggling British economy a huge £8.6 billion a year due to lost working hours, inefficiency and long term unemployment. Depression is not just a general feeling of being down. It is the most common mental health disorder in Britain, affecting 1 in 5 people. With most people spending a third of their time at work, it’s vital for employers to have positive attitudes towards mental health.
This short course in depression management covers:

The course is aimed at individuals as well as People Managers who need to understand and manage depression.
This course is brought to you by tutors who are qualified counsellors, members of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, with 25 years of experience of helping people with a range of issues including stress, depression and anxiety.

7 – 10 hours.

To complete the course you’ll need to submit 4 tutor-marked assignments.
